We are turly blessed!

I would venture to say very few decisions one makes in life are made without faith. Faith emboldens us. Often it is taken for granted. Whether one's faith rests in a mountain climbing rope breaking your fall, a spouse loving and supporting you or friends standing tall when we are in need you come to rely on faith. Athena and I have faith in our winery endeavor. It goes without saying we trust our grape growers to supply us with excellent fruit from which to craft wines each and every vintage. Their labor and passion to grow the finest grapes possible is a major reason our wines are sought after and cherished at home and abroad. Without question, Athena's and my greatest faith rests in the Lord. All we are and all we possess were made possible via His love and generosity. We thought we would share this comforting aspect of our lives with you. Faith…… it is a prerequisite for success!!

It is the truth!

The privately owned C. R. Sandidge Winery was formed by immediate family members and Ray in 1999 and commenced producing wines with the 2000 vintage. The red and white wines quickly became highly regarded by Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast wine critics. The small family owned Sandidge winery produces on average 1,500 cases of wine annually. The wineries' primary focus is on crafting extremely high quality red wines and to a lesser extent elegant white, rosé and dessert wines. To date, wines made by Ray have scored 90 points or better 50 or more times by the Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast magazines as well as other respected national wine reviewing publications.
